Iran's Martyred Intelligence Minister Laid to Rest in Qom as Millions Chant Anti-US, Anti-Israel Slogans

The pure body of Martyred Intelligence Minister Seyyed Ismail Khatib, along with the bodies of his beloved family members, was laid to rest in the holy city of Qom on Saturday, carried on the shoulders of a loyal and revolutionary populace.

Hawzah News Agency- The funeral procession took place after the Eid al-Fitr prayers, with mourners carrying the martyrs' bodies from the holy shrine of Hazrat Fatima Masoumeh (SA) towards the Qom Prayer Grounds.

In a powerful display of defiance and revolutionary fervor, the people of Qom chanted iconic slogans including "Death to America," "Death to Israel," and "The blood in our veins is a gift to our Leader." The crowds also echoed the rallying cry of "Hayhat Minna adh-Dhillah" (Down with Humiliation) and pledged their allegiance to the path of resistance with chants of "We are the nation of Hussain—we do not accept humiliation" and "Martyr brother, your path continues."

Mourners Hail Sacrifices of Armed Forces

The grieving yet defiant masses used the occasion to express profound gratitude for the sacrifices of Iran’s proud and selfless Armed Forces. They reaffirmed their commitment to the path of the martyrs, praising the "blessed choice of blood" over capitulation and hailing the "unforgettable punishment" inflicted upon criminal American and Zionist enemies.

The ceremony underscored the nation's unwavering support for the resistance front, with mourners emphasizing that the martyrdom of the nation's top officials and their families would only strengthen the Islamic Republic's resolve.

Farewell Ceremony at Holy Shrine

A separate farewell ceremony was held on Saturday night at the holy shrine of Hazrat Fatima Masoumeh (SA). Mourners paid their final respects to the martyred intelligence minister and his family, as well as to the body of Martyr Soheil Kiyarash, who was also elevated to the high rank of martyrdom in the aggressive US-Zionist strikes.

The ceremonies reflected the deep bond between the Iranian nation and its revolutionary leadership, with the faithful once again demonstrating that such acts of terror only serve to fortify the nation's commitment to justice, sovereignty, and the liberation of the oppressed.
